DAVID LEE ROTH's Letter To The Staff Of 'The Howard Stern Show'
October 27, 2005The Village Voice has published what it claims is the letter former VAN HALEN frontman David Lee Roth wrote to the staff of "The Howard Stern Show" regarding his new appointment as Stern's morning-slot replacement in New York and six other cities beginning in early January. Read it at this location.
Roth — whose announcement earlier in the week ended months of rumors over just who'd be filling Stern's immense kicks — will take over in New York, Boston, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Dallas and West Palm Beach, Florida. The singer promises he won't be a Stern carbon copy and said he'll be bringing something completely unique to the table; he promises music in addition to talk, some of which will be political in nature, he said, according to MTV.com. Much like Stern, Roth revealed that his personal life will never be off-limits.
